B.C.Y.T. is the part of the Burnley College training network which provides training for young people, mainly in the 16 -18 age group.


Also via Burnley College is "initial training". This offers a 26 week orientation programme for those who are vocationally uncertain. Contact is through your local careers service.


The training available on B.C.Y.T. is largely practical and provides the opportunity to develop skills in a range of activities including: Food Preparation and Retail - Sewing and Textiles - Reprographics and Printing - Office and Clerical - Work Processing - woodworking - Processing and Assembly - Motor Vehicle maintenance and repair - Bodywork and Metalwork - Work Experience Placements - Painting and Decoration - Personal Development.
