E A S T E R M E S S A G E T R U E L O V E
The time of Easter brought sadness in many hearts but it also brought new life. Remember even Mary Magdalene did not recognise the risen Christ, the grief and sadness she had experienced must have taken her thoughts away from seeing a risen Christ, could this be our own experience? The two disciples from Emmaus, Simon and Cleopas did not recognise Jesus at first, but when he spoke to them, in a way they needed, they recognised him. The seven disciples fishing in the Tiberius did not
recognise Jesus at first. Maybe the interest in the fishing took their minds away from the things around them. Our lives today very often take us away from the things that matter most. Let us remember that Jesus declared “1 am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” This thought should encourage our faith and cause us to love our Lord more. Let us give him first place in every area of our lives. Let us all unite in Christ for joy this Easter.
