Plea to sort allotments

CLITHEROE Town Council has appealed for help to sort out problems on i t s W e s t View allotments. According to Town

Clerk Mrs Dorothy Kane: The tenants of these

allotments are suffering from problems of trespass, particularly by people who walk their dogs on the paths and also by children swinging on gates and using the area as a playground. “The council is seeking

the co-operation of the public to ensure that the area is not used as a clog loo, playground or short cut, so that allotment holders can enjoy their gardening free from these problems.”
