Naturalist Society were given a ta lk e n t i t led “Aqua Vitae — Water of Life” by Clitheroe man Mr Neil Whatmore. He began by showing


slides of water in various states, including rivers in flood and slow running streams, and also pointed out the effect water has on various minerals, such as the sandstone river-bed at Dentdale. The slides were accom­
