scorer with 267 runs (17.80), followed by Simon WestHead 240 (24.00) and Charles Foulds also 240 (21.82). Keith Fawcett had only seven innings but scored 165 runs for an average of 33.00, being, twice not out.


Clitheroe professional


Brian Fielding took most wickets,- his 57 costing 13.21 runs, apiece. De­ nnett took 35 (22.83) and Lawton 33 (18.78).


Top amateur bowler


was Wanderers’ captain Bill Slinger with 41 (16.78). In 192 overs, 40 of them- maidens, John Staniforth took 3,6 (17.94) for Whalley. But Neil Weaver had the better average of 13.50 for his 10 wickets.
