AFTER having a drink, a Clitheroe man parked on some waste ground and went to sleep in' his car. But later police found him slumped over the wheel with the engine running, Clitheroe magis trates


were told. For being in charge of a


car with excess alcohol in his blood, John ’ Joseph Bean (29) , of Curzon Street, was fined £60 and banned from driving for six months. He was also fined £40 for riot being insured and given a six- month driving ban, to run consecutively, under the totting-up process. He was ordered to pay costs of

ton as “absolutely marvell­ ous." Doing one room at a time, the family expects it wi l l be weeks before everything is shipshape. “ Fortunately for us the weather is fairly mild,” said Mr Creighton.
