HOUSES NEEDED

A PUBLIC meeting is to be arranged in Whalley to discuss housing needs for young people in: the vil lage; The parish council wants county officials to attend to give details of the age structure of the population.

At last week’s council

meeting the. view , was expressed that lack of suit able housing is driving some young people from Whalley. It was felt that a public meeting would establish whether this was true, and if so, what sort of housing should be provided to reverse the trend.?
