REMEMBRANCE DAY SUNDAY, 13th NOVEMBER, 1966

The Worshipful the Mayor (Councillor T. Robinson.

J.P.) proposes to attend Morning Service at St. Mary’s Parish Church on Sunday, 13th November, for the ob servance of Remembrance Day, and trusts he may be accompanied by residents and. in particular, by those

• serving'in a public capacity or in the various social and welfare organisations in the Borough.

proceed independently into the Church so as to be in their seats by 10-20 a.m.

Organisations should assemble in Church Street and Tlie Mayor will receive in the Mayor's Parlour at the

Town Hall from 10-00 a.m. On the termination of the Service, a procession will

be formed in Church Street and proceed to the Cenotaph, arriving there at approximately 12 noon. The Last Post and Reveille will then be sounded, and wreaths laid. The Mayor and his party will then proceed to the Castle House, and the procession will disperse.

The Mayor appreciates that certain individuals and

organisations may well wish to attend Morning Service at their own Church or Chapel, but suggests that it is appropriate for ns many as possible to attend at the Cenotaph for the final stage of the proceedings.
