Parker to Showcase a Wide Range of Products at Hydrogen and Fuel Cells – Here and Now Conference

Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will present a wide range of H2 solutions at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells – Here and Now Conference on 28th June 2022. Parker’s Hydrogen fuel cell technology range spans valves, filters, manifolds, fluid controls, high-pressure hoses, connectors and sealing solutions, helping reduce emissions worldwide.

Hydrogen technology is key to helping reduce emissions worldwide. Parker supports emission reductions through expertise in technologies to create a greener and more competitive transportation of the future. The Parker team will explain how these hydrogen- compatible products can benefit heavier transportation platforms.

Products being exhibited will include:

Parker’s H2 O-ring Face Seal (ORFS) Fittings (Seal-Lok) and Adapters Seal-Lok products for H2 provide reliable hydrogen gas conveyance with an elastomeric seal compound made

of a thermoplastic material. O-ring face seal fittings offer zero clearance, resistance to over torque and vibration resistance making it an ideal hydrogen fitting solution. Seal-Lok H22 ORFS for H2 tube fittings are EC79 certified and are manufactured with stainless steel to resist hydrogen embrittlement.

F37 for large bore Parflange F37 is a large bore non-welded piping system for ISO 6162-1/2 and ISO 6164 flange connections. It combines the cost and time saving benefits of a cold formed flared end technology with a soft seal flange installation. Using a Parker thermoplastic soft seal ensures that this non-weld solution is safe for 60bar hydrogen gas pipework (higher pressures under qualification).

EO DPR Fittings for lower pressures To remove the need for costly lower pressure fittings on the market (often pressure overrated to the application), Parker has introduced this set of fittings.

With static H2 systems up to pressures of 200 bar (350 bar under qualification), the EO DPR stainless steel DIN fittings are the perfect solution.

Robert Airey, UK Applications & Product Business Development Manager said: “Parker’s fitting technologies cover all hydrogen application needs. Be it from 1000 bar instrumentation cone and thread solutions to lower pressures where price is more critical, we have you covered under one secure banner.”
