The Hair Coach
I’m a firm believer in constant learning and education and so in October I will be taking an annual trip to participate in a coaching and motivational session with the great Tony Robbins.

Tony’s belief is that you have an inner power that can be harnessed by examining your beliefs and values and act as an enabler for a transformative journey conveying fear onto power.
Having attended many of these training courses my role (and the role of any professional hair advisor ) is to ensure that I use my learning to help my clients.
Embrace per sonal empowerment this October by transforming your Autumn hair care routine. Focus on deep moisture with hydrating products like shea butter and argan oil, and use salon professional week ly deep conditioning mask s to combat dryness from cooler air and central heating. Protect your hair f rom summer damage by washing less f requently, using a nourishing shampoo, and minimizing heat styling by opting for air -drying or lower heat settings.
Here are my top tips to get you started.
PRIORITIZE MOISTURE l Switch to hydrating shampoos and conditioners: Choose products with argan oil, shea butter, and glycer in to replenish moisture and combat cooler weather 's drying effects.
l Use a deep conditioning mask weekly: Apply a week ly deep conditioning mask for an ex tra hydration boost.
l Apply a leave-in conditioner: Af ter every wash, use a leave-in conditioner to lock in moisture and protect your hair.
l Reduce washing frequency: Washing less of ten helps retain natural oils.

l Minimize heat styling: Use a heat protection spray and a cool setting on your blow dryer. Air -drying is a great alternative. Adjust Your Routine
l Give your scalp attention: Use a soothing scalp wash to keep the scalp calm and f ree f rom ir r itation.
Chemotherapy can cause your hair to become dry and br ittle, so take good care of it. Use a neutral pH shampoo and conditioner. Cut down on the number of times you wash your hair each week . Use a wide-toothed comb to avoid pulling at your hair and hair roots.
The Medicueticals range of products are specif ic for hair and scalp problems before, dur ing and after chemotherapy.
Feel safe when seek ing advice. It’s very brave to face the outside wor ld when you are feeling low. Look for a professional who offers a quiet, professional and personal place to discuss a curated wig, hair and scalp programme that’s right for you and who is there work ing with side by side.
