Our monthly ‘Style For’ fashion editor, Julia Suzuki, has been working in the fashion world for over two decades. Julia travels the globe looking at the current style trends to bring us the very best designs from both high street and luxury, super brands.
There is nothing more magical for a fashionista than a shopping trip down London’s Bond Street, with cosmopolitan staff to greet and serve your every whim, and indulgent champagne welcoming you and enticing you to spend within and above your means.
Bond Street has provided a high-class shopping experience since the late 18th century, with its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, designer fashion, luxury goods, fine jewels, art and antiques. London’s most prestigious shopping street is claimed to have the highest concentration of haute couture salons in Europe and is home to an impressive number of royal warrants, among them Tiffany’s and Cartier.
Burberry even has two royal warrants granted by both the late Queen Elizabeth and our current King Charles. From Alexander McQueen to Chloe, Dior to Ferragamo and Gucci to Prada – there are so many stores and something for everyone – it truly is a shopping experience to be savoured.
And when you need to take a break, you are spoilt for choice with cafes, cocktail bars and restaurants.

CHANEL A classic Chanel bag is simply beautiful to look at and goes with just about everything. These days it is also quite the financial investment, costing three times as much as it did before the pandemic; a medium Chanel classic currently retails for £8645 vs £4840 in 2019 with bigger price tags in the US. Find a huge selection in the Bond Street Chanel store.
