Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Castleford in Yorkshire, Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist services to the facilities management and construction sectors, comprising more than 3,000 highly trained specialists nationwide. With 30,000 customers from blue-chip corporates and major FM companies to local authorities, hospitals, schools and end-users, and caring for more than 300,000 buildings with millions of assets.
PTSG operates across five key divisions: Access & Safety – fall protection and façade access systems.
Electrical Services – testing, inspection, and compliance (PAT, fixed wire, surge protection and the country’s biggest lightning protection company)
Building Access Specialists – rope access, high-level cleaning and façade maintenance.
Fire Solutions – fire detection, suppression and compliance. Water Treatment – legionella control and water hygiene.

From a small start-up in 2007 to a market-leading specialist service provider with national coverage, PTSG have built a reputation for excellence, reliability and innovation in delivering compliance and safety-critical services.
Having invested millions in systems, processes and people to support growth and deliver consistently high standards. They have expanded their service offering and geographic footprint significantly in the last decade, including floating on the London Stock Exchange in 2015. The company later divested, being acquired by Macquarie Group Limited (Financial Services) in 2018 and Warburg Pincus in 2021.
The company’s growth has been as rapid as it has been impressive, with a wide-range of strategic acquisitions, led by effervescent Chairman Paul Teasdale, further cementing its position at the forefront of safety and compliance.
