In this issue we are making HOT DOGS in a multitude of ways. What makes the best hot dog – how to cook it and how to top it. I love hot dogs and whether you have them by themselves or with French fries and onion rings they are a perfect weekend dinner for guests or just for yourself. In the summer it is time to enjoy yourself not fuss over gourmet dinners.

IN THE EN IN THE END
Well it is time to go outside and enjoy a lovely summer day. I have been hiding in my air conditioned office as the heat and humidity just knock me down but the dogs need a game of catch so time to go. My son just called from Emergency to say that his arm is broken – he has what is called
a “Nightstick Fracture” – he was cleaning the pool and fell in but not before he slammed his arm and body on the cement edge of the pool. An isolated fracture of the ulnar shaft is defined as a nightstick fracture. The injury derives its name from the idea that a suspect struck with a police nightstick would hold his forearm above his face in a defensive posture when struck with a police baton, resulting in a fracture to the ulna. You learn something new every day.

Well my chore list just got longer as I don’t think Adam is going to be much help over
