’90s


TJ OSBORNE, D.C. (West, `95), clinic director at Discover Chiropractic in San Jose since 1995, completed his first season as chiropractic consultant for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League. He has provided sports chiropractic care for other elite athletes, including Team USA judo, weightlifting and wrestling as they prepared for the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.


’70s


LOUIS I. KOFF, D.C. (Main, `75), owner of Koff Chiropractic Clinic in Manassas, Virginia, retired after 46 years. His practice was one of the most respected, busiest and longest-running chiropractic offices in Virginia. He was a great diagnostician so beloved by his patients that he very often cared for generations of their families. A benchmark of his illustrious career was when his daughter, Tara Koff, D.C. (Florida, `08), opted to follow in his footsteps as a chiropractor.


’80s


JAMES BEECH, D.C. (Main, `80), was recognized as the Chiropractor of the Year 2022 by the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. Dr. Beech established Beech Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Columbia, Tennessee, and has been in practice for more than 42 years.


DAVID GILBERTSON, D.C. (Main, `81), retired in June 2022 after 38 years in practice. Dr. Gilbertson opened Mill Creek Chiropractic in Mill Creek, Washington, and practiced full time before selling his practice to fellow Palmer alumnus, Ryan Doerge, D.C. (West, `05), in 2017.


PAMELA WELLS, D.C. (West, `85), sold her practice, Remington Chiropractic, and officially retired in May 2022.


ANDREW SOKOLOSKY, D.C. (West, `86), was recognized for maintaining a San Francisco–based business for more than 30


MILTON LYNES, D.C. (Main, `96), was appointed to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic by Governor Gretchen Whitmer in December 2022. Dr. Lynes succeeds fellow Palmer alumnus, Ryan Thornton, D.C. (Main, `04).


AMY BOWZAYLO, D.C. (West, `96), is the clinical director and CEO at InTouch Integrated Chiropractic Spine Center, which recently became the first integrated rehabilitation center in Bahrain to receive accreditation from the National Health Regulatory Authority. The NHRA recognized Dr. Bowzaylo’s clinic at “Platinum” status, which is awarded “for achieving between 90% and 94% of the required accreditation standards” and for demonstrating “a commitment to safe and high-quality care in the delivery of health services to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

DAVID PARIS, D.C. (West, `01), was reappointed to serve a second term as chair of the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners (BCE). Additionally, Dr. Paris received a Presidential Award at Cal Chiro’s Fall `22 Symposium, which is presented to “members the CalChiro President wishes to recognize for their hard work and dedication to the association.” Dr. Paris has served as the chiropractor at the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Redding, California, since 2005.


ANDREW WEST, D.C. (West, `02), joined Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic as the clinic’s first full-time chiropractor. In addition to


chiropractic care, the clinic provides outpatient care that includes medical, dental and behavioral health, and community and social services. Prior to joining full time, Dr. West served the clinic as a part-time chiropractor and maintained his own practice, West Chiropractic, which he opened in 2003.


THAD DIEHL, D.C. (Main, `03), opened his practice, Bradford Chiropractic Center in Bradford, Pennsylvania, in March 2022.


’10s


CURT RINDAL, D.C. (West, `12), owner of Rindal Sports Chiropractic in Seattle, Washington, completed his inaugural season as team chiropractor Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. Prior to his Mariners’ appointment, Dr. Rindal served as chiropractor for University of Washington athletics from 2017 to 2021.


MARY FRANCES DUNCAN, D.C. (Florida, `15), was recognized as one of 50 South Carolina Women in Business by South Carolina business media. Dr. Duncan founded Simply Southern Chiropractic Center in Greenville, South Carolina, following her graduation from Palmer College in 2015.


RICHARD “RICKY” LEVINE, D.C. (Main, `19), was appointed to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic by Governor Gretchen Whitmer in December 2022. Dr. Levine succeeds fellow Palmer alumnae, Leigh Elceser, D.C. (Main, `94).

ERICA PERIARD, D.C. (Main, `20), and FELIX PERIARD, D.C. (Main, `17), opened Atlas Spine & Wellness Care in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, in 2022.
