CASSIDY KAISER, D.C. (`12) celebrated the opening of her practice, Dr. Cassidy’s Chiropractic Care, with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Quincy Chamber of Commerce in Dr. Kaiser’s hometown of Quincy, Michigan.


ERIKA EQUIZI, D.C. (`16) was recognized with the Business of the Year Award by the Palm Coast Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Equizi is the owner and operator of Premier Chiropractic & Wellness in Palm Coast, Florida, where she is joined by fellow Palmer alumna, Autumn Quinn, D.C. (`20).


CODY RODEWALD, D.C. (`17) has been selected to the Minnesota State Board of Chiropractic Examiners by the office of Governor Tim Walz. Dr. Rodewald currently practices at Align Integrated Health in Lakeville, Minnesota.

MARK HOUK, D.C. (`80) recently sold his practice, Chiropractic and Medical Massage in Spokane, Washington, to one of his eight Palmer associates, Dr. Jay Sherrell (`18). Dr. Houk owned and operated the practice for 43 years and averaged more than 115 new patients per month for 30 years.


LORA TANIS, D.C. (`89) has been appointed to the board of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP). Dr. Tanis has owned and operated her own private practice for more than 30 years.


’90s


KIMBERLY SHUDA, D.C. (`91) sold her practice, Shuda Chiropractic, in June 2022, following 30 years of family chiropractic care in Rock Island, Illinois.


MATTHEW HARRISON, D.C. (`95) joined the team at Health Goals Chiropractic in Marlton, New Jersey. Dr. Harrison is also a certified chiropractic sports physician who works with athletes at all skill levels.


ALAN ALLEY, D.C. (`98) was recognized as a Gussler Fellow and received the Gussler Family Endowed Chair in Science and Mathematics award at Ashland Community and Technical College in Ashland, Kentucky, in May 2024. The honor recognizes “outstanding math and science faculty who foster in their students a desire to learn and reach their maximum potential.” Dr. Alley is embarking on his 19th year as a faculty member at the college.


HEATHER MCCARTER, D.C. (`99) opened Gateway Healing Center in Marietta, Ohio, in July 2024. The center is an extension of McCarter Health Center, which Dr. McCarter also owns and operates, in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

KATHERINE POHLMAN, D.C. (`06) received the George P. and Jerome F. McAndrews Memorial Research Fund Award from the NCMIC Foundation. The award recognizes “veteran researchers who have left a mark on the chiropractic profession through their research.” Dr. Pohlman currently serves as the director of research at Parker University.


’20s


TREVOR LAUFFER, D.C. (`20) joined the team at Family Integrative Medicine, an Orlando-based practice specializing in regenerative medicine and serving multiple communities throughout Central Florida.


DYLAN KNIGHT, D.C. (`21) opened Elk Ridge Wellness in Monticello, Utah, in May 2024. Prior to opening the practice, Dr. Knight served in multiple large integrated practices throughout Utah.


JACOB DEGOOYER, D.C. (`23) recently joined fellow Palmer alumnus, Dr. William Kroner (`92), at his practice, Kroner Chiropractic in Yakima, Washington. Dr. Kroner has been owner and operator of Kroner Chiropractic since 1993.
