Accsys, the maker of Accoya modified wood and Tricoya wood elements, has reported a 4% growth in revenue to €60.4m for the five months ended August 31, 2025. The figures, in the
company’s latest trading update, are even better when the US joint venture is included – a 22% growth to €71.6m – compared to the same period in 2024. Sales volumes were 24,807m3

solid wood and Tricoya is the wood elements version which is used in wood-based panel products to give enhanced durability and performance. Currently, Tricoya is produced by the supply of Accoya and the product being broken down into particles and fibres to produce products like the Medite Tricoya Extreme MDF panel from MEDITE SMARTPLY.
Accoya modified wood product demand against a backdrop of continuing challenging macroeconomic conditions. It is projecting a continuation of positive sales trajectory in FY25 with significant growth in volumes. Regional growth included +12% in UK&I; 24% growth in Rest of Europe; 36% growth in Rest of World. Accoya USA is seen at an inflection point – with 55% year-on-year growth in North America sales volumes, demonstrating positive momentum in the Accoya USA joint venture, driven by expanded distribution and accelerated sales following the start-up in 2024. Distribution capabilities were further strengthened by the addition of three new North America distributors, including one in Mexico.

and, contrary to initial expectations, have not yet been able to fully return to normal. As a result, sales in the third quarter were slightly lower than planned at €92.5m (2024 Q3: €100.3m). After nine months, cumulative consolidated sales were up 0.8% on the same period of the previous year at €291.6m (9M 2024: €289.4m). EBIT for the first nine months totalled €29.1m, which was below the prior-year period (9M 2024: €47.6m). Positive effects of a
comprehensive efficiency improvement programme
are already being reflected in earnings development, with operating profitability increasing again in the third quarter. Revenue is now expected
to be around 1% to 3% above the previous year (previously: plus 3% to 6%). This would correspond to revenue of €380m - €388m. Full year EBIT is now
expected to be between €30m - €35m (previously €29m to €35m). Overall, management does not see the upward trend as being at risk and expects STEICO to return to stronger growth in 2026.
Unilin Technologies announces legal victory in China over SPC patent
