The general consensus from a majority

Footfall in Hall 26 appeared to be slightly down on the 2023 event, with Monday-Wednesday being the busiest days. However, most contacts reported valuable conversations with visitors. Judging a show’s performance is


ultimately difficult and your impression varies depending on to whom you speak. Yes, overall visitor numbers were down from 10 years ago, by the tune of 18,000 – as 96,000 people attended LIGNA 2015. As Deutsche Messe said, current subdued

Siempelkamp, one of the major suppliers of panel production lines, held a press conference to convey its recent financial performance, its Group news and highlight several product areas. Siempelkamp CEO Martin Scherrer said 2024 had been “challenging” but better than expected, with annual sales of €730m, an increase on 2023. Order intake reported was €550m. He reported eight final line acceptances in 2024, as well as 10 new line start-ups and a good order backlog. Siempelkamp unveiled a new group brand structure at LIGNA, which sees all Group subsidiaries unified under the Siempelkamp brand. “Our previous names and brands that
