WIND TOWER TRAILER IS USED TO HELP STRENGTHEN UKRAINE'S ENERGY SUPPLY

Ukrainian logistics specialist Friendly Logistic LLC has expanded its wind power fleet with the purchase of a new Faymonville 4+7 self-steering FlexMAX

tower adapter trailer with hydraulic suspension. It is using the trailer to help develop the country’s wind energy market where, to strengthen the energy supply,

large-scale wind farms are currently being implemented. The tower adapter trailer is designed

to transport all types of steel tower segments up to 100 tonnes. Extensions on the trailer mean it can accommodate tower sections with internal diameters of up to 6,300mm. Additionally, nacelles and hybrid steel tower sections can be loaded without extra adapters. The vertical adapter stroke of 1,800 millimetres enables the autonomous loading and offloading of the sections and also facilitates passing obstacles along the route, such as roundabouts, crash barriers or road boundaries. Faymonville provided Friendly

Logistic’s team with full in-person training on how to properly use the trailer.
