COULD WE BE CELEBRATING YOU NEXT YEAR?

Nominations for the Pharmacy in Focus Awards 2027 are now open!

The Pharmacy in Focus Awards are back for 2027 and we need your help to recognise those who are raising the bar, bringing new ideas to life, delivering outstanding care and helping shape what comes next for the profession.

From brilliant individuals and inspiring teams to pharmacies doing things differently, 2027 is about celebrating the very best of pharmacy and giving their achievements the spotlight they deserve.

The awards are now officially OPEN for nominations with a fantastic line-up of categories ready to celebrate pharmacies and their teams across Northern Ireland.

And if you have a story to tell but don’t fancy sitting down to write an award entry? We can do it with you. One of our awards team members can arrange a call, talk through your story and capture your answers interview-style, making sure everything that makes you or your team stand out comes across in your entry. Drop us an email at info@ pharmacyshows.com and we’ll get you booked in.

The awards take place in Belfast on Saturday, March 13 2027.

Entering could not be easier, scan the QR code or visit pharmacyinfocus.co.uk

Take a look through the categories below, find the one that fits you, your team or your pharmacy, and get your entry in. The entry deadline is Friday, January 29th 2027.

The Customer Award

The voice of the patient brought to life. Launched in 2026, The Customer Award had a fantastic response, with patients across Northern Ireland getting behind the pharmacy teams that make a real difference to them. For 2027, we want to make it even bigger. Every vote comes directly from the people who matter most, the patients who walk through your doors and trust you with their care. Head to the awards’ section at pharmacyinfocus.co.uk to request your QR code to display in the pharmacy so customers can vote for you.

Commitment to Health and Wellbeing

This category recognises pharmacists, including independent prescribing pharmacists, and their teams who are using their skills to make a real difference in patient care.

Working in Partnership

This category is open to all pharmacy teams, whether independent or part of a larger group, who can demonstrate meaningful achievements through close collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Community Pharmacy Service

This category honours the dedicated individuals within pharmacy teams who have served their local communities in a single pharmacy for more than 20 years. Nominations must be submitted by pharmacy business owners or managers.

Advancing Independent Pharmacy

This award celebrates pharmacists and their teams who have embraced new technologies and fresh ways of working to transform patient care, improve safety and drive greater operational effectiveness.

Pharmacist of the Year

This category is open to contractor and employee pharmacists working in either independent or group pharmacies who can demonstrate a strong record of innovative and progressive initiatives.

Community Pharmacy of the Year

This category is open to all pharmacies, whether independent or part of a chain, that can demonstrate a strong business profile and a proven track record of delivering initiatives and projects that benefit their local communities.

There is of course one award you won’t find an entry form for. The Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy Award is personally selected by the UCA-NI Board and kept under wraps until it is revealed live on the night.

Disclaimer: Pharmaceutical Companies have provided sponsorship for the meeting, including exhibition stand space. They have had no influence over the meeting agenda, speakers, venue, or subsistence arrangements, which are determined solely by the meeting organiser.
