s part of this commitment, we are proud to become the new publishers of Pharmacy in Focus Magazine and
organisers of the Awards ceremony.
This transition builds on the two decades of contributions from Jason Andrews and Maureen Delaney of Profile Publishing and ensures that pharmacy professionals continue to receive valuable industry insights, networking opportunities and recognition for their outstanding contributions.
The Story Behind PharmacyShows PharmacyShows was launched in 2022 with the aim of providing local trade events tailored to the needs of community pharmacies. Initially following a regional event in Scotland, the platform quickly gained traction, leading to its expansion into Wales in 2024. Most recently, Northern Ireland was welcomed into the fold, marking a significant milestone for the company.
Who We Are Amy brings a wealth of experience to PharmacyShows, having spent over seven years working with Right Medicine Pharmacy in

Scotland as an Operations Manager. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing daily communications with pharmacies, coordinating conferences and managing various operational aspects of the business.
Richard, meanwhile, has been immersed in the pharmacy industry for more than 15 years, holding the role of Operations Director at Right Medicine Pharmacy and serving as Managing Director of Edinpharm since 2018. Richard remains closely connected to Community Pharmacy, ensuring that his insights are always grounded in real-world practice.
What sets PharmacyShows apart is its strong family-oriented approach. Amy and Richard’s two-year-old daughter, Erin, has become an integral part of the team, often making an appearance at events - keeping everyone on their toes while enjoying the freebies!
As the company has grown, so has its team. Carolyn now manages social media engagement, ensuring that PharmacyShows remains connected with the pharmacy community online. Meanwhile, Iona has joined as Sales and Events
Support, helping to organize and execute successful events.
The Future of Pharmacy in Focus Looking ahead, Pharmacy in Focus remains committed to empowering community pharmacy teams through high-quality editorial content.
Our mission is to provide informative articles that support pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy staff in their daily roles - both in print and digital formats.
Beyond publishing, we are dedicated to celebrating excellence in pharmacy through our awards night. As this event continues to grow, we aim to make it an unforgettable evening, recognising the outstanding contributions of pharmacy professionals who go above and beyond for their communities.
We are excited about what the future holds for PharmacyShows and Pharmacy in Focus and we look forward to continuing our mission of supporting and uplifting the community pharmacy sector.
