Hull College Lighting Case Study


Hull College is one of the largest establishments of its type in the UK with sites in Queen’s Gardens, Cannon Street and the KC Stadium as well as in Goole, Harrogate and community locations around Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. All of the colleges form part of the Hull College Group and have over 25,000 students across its campuses.


Chelt Electrical in Hull installed a quantity of over 600 LED LuxPanel luminaires from Luceco throughout the College, the programme being funded by the Salix scheme Quick and easy to install into exposed grid ceilings, the luminaires delivered a greatly improved operational life with no maintenance requirements. The luminaires were installed in classrooms, circulation areas and corridors, lecture suites and relaxation areas as well as specialist facilities such as beauty and hairdressing salons.
