Circuit Protection for Heat Pumps
Designed specifically for heat pump applications, these are available as standalone RCD devices or as populated enclosures. The devices feature a compact 2-module design, compatible with all BG enclosures and available in 63A and 100A ratings. The populated enclosures comply with BS 7671 wiring regulations, IP65 and fire-rated, ensuring suitability for indoor and outdoor installations. Each unit is pre-assembled with a B+HP RCD, SPD, and MCB, housed in an anthracite grey enclosure with a lockable cover.
• The B+HP RCD's overcome the limitations of standard Type A, B, F devices. • Working frequency >20 kHz. • Minimum trip threshold: 150mA for high frequency current >1 kHz. • Works with AC, DC, pulsed DC, and high frequency installations. • Incorporated surge to support with inverter startups.
