estled within the picturesque mountains of Squamish, B.C., one the 10 fastest growing cities in Canada, is a self-storage facility that’s expanding to meet the needs of its steadily increasing population. Formerly known as Advanced Storage Centre, the property was one of eight self-storage facilities in the portfolio acquired by Advanced Self Storage in 2019. Since the acquisi- tion, Advanced Self Storage of Squamish has become a reliable, friendly, and comprehensive storage option for the “tight-knit” town’s residents and businesses.
Location Logistics
According to PJ Juneja, director of Advanced Self Storage, Squamish is experiencing a substantial amount of growth. “There’s lots of migration to Squamish,” he says, noting

that younger generations have found solace in Squamish thanks to its nature-oriented community and more reason- ably priced housing options. North of Vancouver, Squamish is at the northern tip of Howe Sound and surrounded by mountains like the Stawamus Chief, a huge granite monolith. The Sea to Sky Gondola has views of the sound and nearby Shannon Falls, a towering waterfall cascading down a series of cliffs. Its natural wonders are the perfect settings for outdoor recreation. As a matter of fact, the region is world famous for mountain biking and hiking, as well as snowmobiling and back-country skiing in winter. The town is also well-known for wind and kite surfing around Squamish Spit in the summer.
