Apply for Housing
Winthrop University believes that residing on campus results in the full immersion of students into the campus community and increases their chances of success. All first- and second-year students are required to live on campus. Only those with parents or legal guardians living within 50 miles of campus may elect to live at home (see
winthrop.edu/reslife for exemption form).
A housing packet describing your residence hall options, academic success communities and meal plans will be mailed to you. The packet contains your housing application instructions. The housing application is accessible through the “Eaglenest Housing” link in Wingspan. Ready to apply for housing?
1. Log in to Wingspan with your Winthrop e-mail and password. 2. Click on the “Eaglenest Housing” link under the “Student Tool” section to the left. 3. Click on “New Student Housing Application and Residence Hall Contract” under the “Newly Admitted Students” section. 4. Fill out each page and click “Next Step” to move to the next page.
NOTE:
- Students will receive housing and roommate assignments in late July.
- You do not need to submit the enrollment deposit before applying for housing.
- The housing packet will have more information regarding each residence hall.
