Submit the Enrollment Deposit


Once you’ve decided to make Winthrop your home, it’s time to pay the Enrollment Deposit. All students are required to submit this deposit of $300 by May 1, or four weeks from the date of your acceptance if you are accepted after May 1. This pre-payment reserves a space for you at Winthrop and is credited toward your first semester fees. You can contact your admissions counselor or the Cashiers Office if you have any questions. The enrollment deposit can be paid by:


Credit card payment submitted online using Wingspan. Winthrop accepts all major credit cards. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.75% convenience fee.


Ready to pay?


1. Log in to Wingspan using your Winthrop e-mail and password. 2. Click the “Account Summary and Payment Gateway” link on the Wingspan home tab. 3. Click “View Statements and Make Payment.” 4. Ignore the current balance and click “Make Payment.” 5. Select “Current Account Balance” and enter $300 in the box to the right. 6. Click “Continue” to enter your payment information.


NOTE: - You do not have to submit the enrollment deposit before applying for housing or registering for Orientation. - Outside scholarships cannot be used to pay the enrollment deposit.


- To pay by check, mail your enrollment deposit with your student ID number to the Cashiers Office (22 Tillman Hall, Rock Hill, SC 29733).
