Set Up Your Winthrop E-mail


Your Winthrop e-mail serves as both your e-mail address and your username to log in to Wingspan, Winthrop’s student portal. Please remember to check your Winthrop e-mail account regularly — some departments will only send messages to your Winthrop e-mail. Ready to set up your Winthrop e-mail address?


1. Log in to your application portal at apply.winthrop.edu/portal/admit. 2. Click on the yellow “Wingspan Account Setup” tab. 3. Click on the “Account Creation Page” link. 4. Use your last name and the last five digits of your student ID number to login (your ID number is available on your portal). 5. Create your account.

Register for Orientation


Orientation is one of the first experiences you get as a Winthrop Eagle. This summer at Orientation, you will be able to register for classes, meet your future classmates and learn all there is about being a Winthrop Eagle. Ready to register?


1. Log in to your application portal at apply.winthrop.edu/portal/admit. 2. Click on the Garnet “Orientation Registration” tab. 3. Choose the session(s) that works best for you. 4. Register and mark your calendar!
