NEWS POLICE PODCAST A Voice for the Frontline

In the age where digital media dominates our daily lives, the Police Federation of England and Wales continues to create more podcast content for you to connect with. Our episodes are created and curated for our members, policy makers and the wider public to help highlight the work we are doing. The series offers insights into the realities of policing, covering topics from officer welfare to national policy decisions. Each episode features candid discussions with Federation representatives and subject matter experts. It attempts to shine a light on the challenges our members are facing and the work Federation is doing in response. We also highlight some of the excellent resources and webinars that the Federation has on offer to help with your own professional development. In our latest episode, published on 26

August, we heard from the Federation’s National Secretary, John Partington, who talked about this year’s police pay award and how the Federation is already working towards what comes next. Previous episodes have covered the pressures of understaffing, mental health strains and the increasing complexity of criminal investigations. The podcast has continually highlighted stories of resilience and innovation within the service, giving listeners a deeper appreciation of the work carried out by our members, Fed reps and Federation staff. Tune in to your favourite podcasting platform to access professional yet approachable content with episodes typically running between 20 to 40 minutes, making them ideal for a commute or a tea break.
