ADDISON LEE APPOINTS PATRICK GALLAGHER AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Addison Lee has announced the appointment of Patrick Gallagher as Chief Executive Officer. Patrick will succeed Liam Griffin, who will be continuing his position as Group Chief Point-to-Point Mobility Officer at Addison Lee’s parent company ComfortDelGro. Patrick joined Addison Lee as Chief Operating Officer and Board Director in March 2020 and has played a pivotal role in the company’s strategic and operat- ional transformation. Prior to joining Addison Lee, Patrick served as CEO at CitySprint Group for almost two decades. With over 35 years of executive leadership experience, he has spearheaded businesses across the UK and USA

in logistics, mobility, healthcare, and retail sectors. As part of this next phase, Addison Lee is bringing its UK operations into closer alignment under a single leadership structure. This includes its London-based businesses alongside its North West operations within CityFleet Networks. Patrick will assume responsibility for this expanded UK platform, overseeing operations across London and the North West to support continued growth and integration.

This appointment reflects cont- inued alignment between Addison Lee and the wider ComfortDelGro Group, as the business accelerates its growth strategy and reinforces

its leadership in premium urban mobility. Patrick said: “Addison Lee has set the benchmark for premium urban mobility in London, and I’m incredibly proud to be leading the company into its next chapter. “Our focus will be on driving innovation, expanding our services and continuing to deliver market- leading propositions to

our

customers, all while supporting the people who make Addison Lee possible: the drivers. We’re committed to

improving the

experience and livelihoods of our drivers, providing opportunities and practical support so they can thrive on the road and build fulfilling careers.”

LYFT AGREES TO ACQUIRE GETT’S UK BUSINESS WITH THE CLOSE EXPECTED IN THE COMING WEEKS

With the addition of Gett, Lyft is positioned as the leading app for London black cabs and will offer a comprehensive suite of ground transport options - from black cabs and private hire to bikes and executive chauffeur - that will nearly double the number of rides on the platform across the capital. Lyft already owns Freenow; it provides bikes and stations for Santander Cycles, including the software that powers them; and later this year will be testing AV rides in London with Baidu – making it one of the only platforms in the world offering both human- driven and AV rides in the city. Gett’s strength is its enterprise DNA – years of high-value B2B

50

relationships with clients ranging from London’s

largest corpor-

ations to historic venues and major public sector organisations. Together, that makes Lyft one of London’s most comprehensive mobility platforms, in Europe’s largest taxi and ride-hail market. “With Gett, Lyft is expanding its coverage of London’s full ground transport ecosystem,” said Jeremy Bird, EVP of Global Growth at Lyft. “This milestone reflects Lyft’s com- mitment to the London market and our belief in its long-term potential. “Black cab drivers are some of the world’s most qualified drivers who pass the world’s toughest taxi exam,” said Thomas Zimmermann, CEO of Freenow by Lyft.

“We are excited to welcome Gett into the Lyft ecosystem, strength- ening our customer-centric black cab and private hire service for Londoners, passengers across the UK, and travellers worldwide.” Gett brings not just drivers and riders, but a proven enterprise business - and its team will transfer to Freenow by

Lyft once the

acquisition is complete. “We are delighted to start a new chapter for Gett operations in the UK with Lyft,” said Matteo de Renzi, CEO of Gett. “I’m confident that under this new ownership, the team at Gett by Lyft will continue to reach new heights, for the benefit of all our customers, drivers, and partners.”
