PD 2G 10.8-EC combi drill: the power of Flex

By PETER BRETT

THE arrival of a couple of new Flex cordless tools caused me to catch myself and realise that I have been using them regularly for more than half a decade. In this time, I have not managed to break any of them, but also, none of the battery packs have given up the ghost either.

Some of the tools - like the sanders and the cordless angle grinder - have been subject to what I would call ‘demanding tasks’ and, despite their scruff y appearance, still work very hard. So, I can only conclude that the two words ‘reliable’ and ‘effi cient’ apply to Flex tools and this probably puts them into the category of ‘under-rated tools’ that will defi nitely stand up to trade use.

Maybe end users need to spread their nets a bit wider when it comes to looking at new tool purchases…?
