COVER FEATURE The whole kit and caboodle

WITH a brand new decade dawning, PAL Media, the owners of ToolBUSINESS+HIRE have decided to give the beloved magazine a top-to- bottom rebrand to become ToolKit.

This is not a mere redesign or name change. The new publication will be aiming at welcoming a whole new readership: the professional tool end- user. With a sharp refocus and a slick new look, ToolKit will become the essential magazine no tradesperson should be without.

We sat down with PAL co-director Dan Daintry to discuss his vision of the future for ToolKit.

Dan Daintry

We understand we have an exciting few years of development ahead of us and we want to be a part of helping them understand more about what is available to them.

As a company, PAL has years of experience dealing with builders, construction companies and professional tradespeople. We know this market and we felt that, just

Digital platforms let us engage with our readers immediately and directly in a way that is far more diffi cult otherwise."

So ToolKit will still be relevant to ToolBUSINESS+HIRE’s existing readership?

Absolutely. If you look at the information a tool stockist needs to know and the information a tool user needs to know, there is a great deal of overlap. They need to know what’s new, what the right tool is for the right job, and of course how the developing political and economic issues will aff ect their business.

We will still be bringing our readers all the latest tool news, reviews, and business advice they’ve come to expect from us. In addition they can look forward to more in-depth features and industry insights as well as regular
