RECYCLING MACHINERY

finalizes the material by separating magnetic metals from the waste flow. The result is a high-quality end-product.

TANA screening solutions are being developed with one purpose in mind: offering the customers something beyond expectations.

“It’s simple; you get a lot more compaction rate with our machines.

“We have compactors at 26, 32, 36, 45 and 52 tonnes. And all of those have the single drum, front and rear. There a number of compactors located in the UK, but they are very popular in America where, of course, there are a lot more landfills.”

A sign of the times Having prospered over almost half a century, TANA has seen many developments in the marketspaces, both here and abroad. Naturally, taking the temperature of fluctuating trends is essential for innovating and keeping their products at the cutting edge of customer demand.

TANA’s customers operate in countless different areas of the waste management industry. They treat a wide range of waste types and streams using a variety of processes. TANA’s job is to help them do that as easily, cost-effectively and ecologically as possible.

“Currently, people are wanting to shred their waste more; we have seen a big

influx of shredder machines sold,” said Shaun. “Our TANA Shredder is a very versatile machine; it can do a huge number of jobs just by changing the screening, which you can do in 10 - 15 minutes. From tyres to mattresses, wood waste, general waste and bulk waste... it’s very versatile.

“Another advantage of the ‘SHARK’ is its ‘one pass’ capability; for smaller sites with limited space the SHARK is ideal as it’s able do the job of multiple machines.

"This option has become a more desirable quality in our machine. Although, of course, different companies all require different set-ups. We’ve got static machines, mobile machines, we’ve also produced electric machines to suit all needs."

The product line TANA Shark Shredders offer unique versatility and are particularly good for RDF/SRF production and cost-efficient treatment of tyres, ragger wire, plastics and C&D waste. With its built-in screen, it produces a homogenous particle size even in one pass and over band magnet

TANA landfill compactors are the first purpose-built compactors in the world. The stand-out features of the structure are the two full width drums and the rigid, non-oscillating frame. They result in better compaction and higher waste treatment capacity with lower operating costs and in fewer passes. The unique design results in a compaction guarantee of minimum 10% compared to previous machines and data given by TANA ProTrack® allows operations to be optimized for maximum profitability.

The smart move It’s not just the recycling machines themselves that TANA are innovating. They have also fully embraced the benefits of smart technology and created an information management system specific to its own products: The TANA ProTrack®.

This clever system collects, analyses and stores data on operating TANA machines, allowing their customers to easily track the efficiency of their operations at a glance.

Another advantage of the ‘SHARK’ is its ‘one pass’ capability."

Not only does this system produce performance data in real time, allowing users to maximise uptime, it also allows them to calculate costs and profits more accurately.

“TANA's mission is to provide customers with simply more money on the bottom- line with cutting edge technology in solid waste management combined with state-of-the-art control and monitoring systems,” states TANA’s website. “The objective of this mission is to improve our customers' business and enable them to increase revenue, from waste to value.”
