A global pandemic may have shut down graduation venues and much of the country, but it could not diminish the pride that families, friends, and the CVUSD community had for our 2020 graduating class. Although graduates were not able to enjoy the traditional end-of-the-year activities and pomp and circumstance, the enthusiasm and resilience exhibited by the Class of 2020 was awe-inspiring. Graduates participated in Drive-Thru Graduation ceremonies where parents, family and friends could take photos and cheer the students on to their next chapter of life. A virtual graduation for each school site was also produced and aired on the District 's YouTube page where each graduating senior was recognized and commencement speeches were provided by the High School Principal, the High School Valedictorians and student leaders and the CVUSD Board of Education President.
