Response t o COVID- 19
COVID-19 has left the global community with so many unknowns, but at Chino Valley USD, one thing is clear: the safety of our students, staff and community is our priority. Since classroom doors closed in early March, district staff and administration have joined together to plan how the district will protect students, teachers and staff during this pandemic. Several walk-throughs took place over
the summer where various
departments collaborated on how to sanitize and disinfect public areas and classrooms, how to maintain social distancing, how to allow for face-to-face interaction, and how to best provide a positive school climate once students return to campus. Glass and plexiglas barriers have been installed in offices and high traffic areas, hand sanitizing stations have been strategically placed throughout school campuses and District facilities, soap dispensers installed at all sinks, floor markers appropriately spaced apart for visitors to stand on, distribution of personal protective equipment to school sites and daily temperature checks are just a few safety measures being taken to help slow the spread of the virus and ensure safety within CVUSD. Thank you for adhering to all CVUSD safety guidelines. We're in this together!
