CAN YOU REHOME A

Recent ly we have been on the lookout for bird-lovers to rehome domest ic racing pigeons. Space is always a premium during the

summer months but at other t imes we will support the RSPCA inspectorate in temporarily holding onto domest ics before they can be rehomed. However, it can be dif f icult to f ind new

homes for some domest ic pigeons: racing and fancy. All animals deserve a second chance

and we are always keen to f ind new homes for every domest ic racing and fancy pigeon which comes through our doors, if we are unable to reunite them with their owner. Somet imes their owners do not want them back but thats another story It can also be hard f inding new homes

for them as not many people have the facilit ies required to house such pigeons appropriately. We are keen for anyone with suitable facilit ies to rehome any of our racing or fancy pigeons to get in touch. The pigeon, pictured above, is just one

PIGEON?

of many looking for a new home af ter being found grounded in Sandbach on 7 September. Af ter two weeks care and recovery, he was ready for a new home as his original owner can?t be traced but we are st ill looking. There are current ly 20 domest ic pigeons at

Stapeley Grange who need new homes. Before deciding to rehome any birds it?

important to consider if you have the knowledge, t ime, facilit ies, money and commitment needed to care for them.
