ATIONnews Animal welfare for university students


The educat ion team hosted a group of 30 Animal Welfare students f rom Salford University in October. Their it inerary included an introduct ion talk and discussions about the RSPCA, Stapeley Grange and the process of rescue, rehabilitat ion and release. The students were able to go behind the scenes outside the hospital and in the grounds on a guided tour to learn more about the pract ical running of the centre. They also worked through the protocol for hedgehogs that are admit ted to the hospital, and had the opportunity to grill the centre manager with topical quest ions! A spooky event at Stapeley
