S T A P E L E Y AT 25
THIS YEAR WE CELEBRATE AN EXCITING MILESTONE - OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY!
Since 14 October 1994, RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Cattery has just gotten bigger and busier! We're very excited about this
25 year milestone and have calculated that since we opened, more than 130,000 animals have been treated at Stapeley. Sadly not all outcomes are as we would like but at least we are reducing suffering if animals are brought and are put to sleep. It's hard to swallow sometimes but we can't have everything
Last year we saw more than 6,600 animals come through our doors, which is one of the highest years yet. We see so many different
species - from foxes to hedgehogs, swans to puffins, seals to polecats - every sort of British wildlife you can imagine, we have seen them here since 1994. Our team can receive more than 120 different species each year in the wildlife hospital which certainly keeps them on their toes!
