Storytime at monthly Wildlife Tots

Toddlers, nature and craft; the perfect ingredients for a fun-filled morning at our monthly Wildlife Tots events. The sessions are run for children from 0 to 5 years old,

and are run on the last Saturday of each month for £6 per child, from 10:30 to 12:00 (under one’s are free!). Each session is based upon a story with related

activities to enjoy. Our August Tots enjoyed our bat themed trails and craft activities as part of International Bat Weekend. The story was ‘I am Bat’ by Morag Hood and our black pasta bats in colourful sand for textured play were a hit! Other activities included making a bat from

cardboard rolls and paper, bat painting and making a flying bat. For September, toddlers enjoying being wildlife

rangers and finding animal tracks on our animal identification trail. The chosen story was ‘Footprints in the Snow’ by Mei Matsuoka and activities included fun potato printing, paint a paw print, making tracks in sand and paw print medallion creation.

Parents can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, join in and relax while their children play, and the best part, leave the cleaning up to us! if you are interested come along and join us for our autumnal

and christmas themed Wildlife Tots sessions in October and November. You can find more information on our Facebook page and
