This class teaches the student how to be proficient in billing in a healthcare setting and how to enhance reimbursement. Clinical and legal issues are included. Prerequisite: Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, ICD-10 Coding, and CPT/HCPCS Coding with a grade of "C" or better. $799

This 12-week accelerated Medical Scribe Specialist course will address training competencies required for the ACMSS certification. Through lecture, review, training, and practice of electronic health record input and documentation management, students will prepare to assist healthcare providers in a clinical setting with activities of patient medical record documentation.
