MSc Management (Entrepreneurship) Our MSc in Management (with specialism in Entrepreneurship) is an intensive one-year programme that offers you a unique opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of small business enterprise and entrepreneurship, while gaining a thorough grounding in the core theories and concepts that are central to a career in management today. It will be of particular interest to graduates looking to start their own enterprise.
You will start by studying management theory across a range of core disciplines, including finance and accounting, organisational behaviour and strategic management. In term two you will gain a deeper insight into entrepreneurship then in the summer term your dissertation provides an opportunity for independent research and in-depth investigation into a particular aspect of entrepreneurship.
Our programme is designed for graduates of any discipline who aspire to a career in management. It is not necessary to have any prior academic or practical experience in business or management. However, you would benefit from having an inquisitive mindset and a genuine interest in interrogating research in the field to develop your knowledge and understanding for use in later practice.
Entry requirements: A first or very good upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification level) in any subject.
MSc Management (International Business) Our MSc in Management (with specialism in International Business) is an intensive one-year programme that offers you a unique opportunity to develop a global perspective on your management practice, while gaining a thorough grounding in the core theories and concepts that are central to a career in management today. Due to the increasing globalisation of organisations,

work, our economy and society, this specialism in international business will be relevant to any future career, and particularly to graduates looking to work for an international organisation.
You will start by studying management theory across a range of core disciplines, including finance and accounting, organisational behaviour and strategic management. In term two you will gain a deeper understanding of international business by studying two mandatory and two optional units that are core to this specialism. Finally, in the summer term the dissertation provides an opportunity for independent research focused on international business and management. It is also a powerful way of showcasing your talent to future employers, providing you with the confidence and platform to launch your own business ideas.
Our programme is designed for graduates of any discipline who aspire to a career in international business and management. You do not need any prior academic or practical experience in business or management, but you should have an international outlook and a genuine interest in developing innovative and creative solutions to business problems with a global perspective.

You will start by studying management theory across a range of core disciplines, including finance and accounting, organisational behaviour and strategic management. In term two you
will gain a deeper knowledge and insight into marketing. Then in the summer term, your dissertation provides an opportunity for independent research and links your studies to a genuine investigation around a marketing theme.
Our programme is designed for graduates of any discipline who aspire to a career in management and/or marketing. You do not need any prior academic or practical experience in business or management but you should have a curious and creative mind and a genuine interest in marketing.
Previous graduates from the School of Economics, Finance and Management have gone on to work around the world at a variety of leading companies, such as Lloyds TSB, L’Oréal, Deutsche Bank, LG Electronics, WHO-US, Hangzhou, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Marks & Spencer.

Our MSc in Management (Operations and Project Management) is an intensive one-year programme that offers you a unique opportunity to develop your interest in operations and project management, while gaining a thorough grounding in the core management theories, concepts and skills that are essential for a career in management today. It will especially suit careers in manufacturing and production, and project- oriented areas such as consultancy, construction, product development or ICT.
You will start by studying management theory and techniques across a range of core subjects, including finance and accounting, organisational behaviour and strategic management.
