Maryland


The ladies of Potomac Hunt earned the Reserve Championship Hunt Team honors at the Pennsyl- vania National Horse Show. The team, riding three OTTBs, of Jennifer Webster, Jo Meszoly and Mar- lene Allen missed fi rst by just one point!


Barry Dornon of AOPF Stables in Upperco placed 10th in Freestyle and 15th in Ranch Work with Bully Song at the 2018 Retired Racehorse Project Makeover in Kentucky.


Royal Casino, owned and bred by Cynthia McNemar, was the Cham- pion Yearling Colt and Overall Champion Yearling at the USEA East Coast Future Event Horse Championship held at Loch Moy Farm.


Samantha Lewis and Lara Nielsen, representing Marlbor- ough Hunt, were the Maryland Spring Hunter Pace Series Ju- nior Flat Champions.

Jason Daisey’s BellaVista Faithful won the USEA East Coast Future Event Horse Yearling Filly class at the championships held at Loch Moy Farm. The Cleveland Bay/Thoroughbred fi lly was also the second place yearling overall.


Lyla Ludwig (above) and Safe Haven Farm’s Heart to Heart earned the Cham- pionship in the Beginner Rider Equita- tion division at the BCHSA Benefi t at Mc- Donogh on October 6. At the same show, Kyra Tuite (below) also rode Heart to Heart, earning the Reserve Champion- ship in the Mini-Stirrup B division.


Courtney Asdourian won the Polo divi- sion at the Retired Racehorse Project Makeover in Kentucky with Tanyas Pride.


Grace Fulton and Wild Orange fi nished the CIC3* at the Plantation Field International in 21st place.
