OF ALL REALTORS IN MARYLAND!

The main parcel is 68 rolling acres and includes the historic farmstead (house and main outbuildings), historically sited fairly close together for ease of care from building to building. Today, we would call this “environmentally friendly site planning,” but back in the 1800s farmers just called it “practical” and “common sense” to site the farmstead nestled safe from howling winter winds from the north, with a south-eastern exposure to best capture the sun year-round. The 1853 Folk-Gothic farmhouse features a wrap-around porches, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, beautiful bank barn with a fenced barnyard (perfect for that pony), machine shed and more. Farmhouse has served as a country family retreat for decades, and has been dutifully maintained but is ready for its next chapter, for the vision of a new owner.
