WINNER: Judges chose the photo “No Place Like Home” as the Farm Life winner quickly! Te photograph, taken by Katlyn Priola of Woodbine, was taken during a February 2024 snow storm. Judges loved the bright red barn contrasted against the snow, the way the falling snow speckles the lens, and the skill with which the photographer captured the winter’s unique combination of mel- ancholy and beauty.


RUNNER UP: Missy Green of Union Bridge is our Farm Life runner up with her image “Peek a Boo Emma.” Judges loved the playfulness and unique perspective of the horse Emma peeking at the photogra- pher through fence boards. Te photo was taken at Rainbow Valley in Union Bridge this past February.
