Asbury Communities, based in Frederick, Md., has recreated its integrated technology subsidiary to launch ThriveWell Tech, an IT outsourcing and consulting services company deploying advanced technologies and cloud- based services for senior living and aging ser- vices. Its managed service provider portfolio includes its MSP 2.0 model, a customizable service package offering.


Atria Senior Living, based in Louisville, Ky., has opened Atria Almaden, a 200-residence community including 170 independent and assisted living communities and 30 residences in a dedicated memory care neighborhood, in San Jose, Calif. Residences include studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include three dining venues, golf simulator, outdoor kitchen and fire pits, elec- tric charging stations, and chauffeured town car service. The community reported 90 per- cent vaccination completion in mid-March. Through its Atria Retirement brand, previous- ly known as Atria Retirement Canada, Atria has assumed management of 21 independent living communities owned by New Senior In- vestment Group Inc., in nine states. The move is intended to augment Atria Retirement, which offers an independent living product at a lower price point. Transition was to be complete by the end of April.


GlynnDevins, based in Kansas City, Mo., has acquired Bluespire, an integrated marketing company with a proprietary scalable services platform. Bluespire, with offices in Minne- apolis, Minn., and Hartford, Conn., will be branded as Bluespire – a GlynnDevins com- pany. It offers a proprietary platform for dig- ital marketing strategies, brand messaging, and lead generation. This is GlynnDevins’ second acquisition in recent months; it ac- quired Linkmedia360 in October 2020.


Wexford, Pa.-based IntegraCare Corporation has opened two new communities. Bay Vil- lage Assisted Living & Memory Care, in An- napolis, Md., offers 88 apartments, including 16 in a memory care neighborhood. Ame- nities in the LEED Gold-certified building include several dining venues and three acres of forest conservation with walking trails on

Chelsea Senior Living, based in Fanwood, N.J., has opened The Residences at Plainview, an independent living community for adults 55 and over, in Plainview, N.Y. Among the amenities offered are a sports bar, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a personalized wellness program with on-site medical and rehabilitation practitioners and a homecare program. It is less than a mile away from Chelsea’s other area community, Somerset Gardens, an assisted living and memory care community.
