BANNER PROGRAM
The City of Bellflower invites you to participate in the Bellflower Honors Banner Program. This program offers an opportunity to honor past and present military personnel from Bellflower by dedicating a street pole banner, such as the one pictured.
Who qualifies for the banner? Past or present military personnel who live or lived in Bellflower.
What do the banners look like? Banners have duplicate designs on both sides, and measure approximately 30” x 70”.
Where will banners be displayed? Banners will be displayed along Flower Street & Alondra Boulevard, between Woodruff Avenue & Bellflower Boulevard.
What is the cost of a banner? The cost is $200 per banner, which includes installation. The banner will remain for one calendar year from the date of installation. The City of Bellflower will not be responsible for replacing banners that are stolen, damaged or destroyed due to sun, weather, age, vandalism or any act of nature beyond our control, such as high winds.
How can I order a banner? 1) Complete application. 2) Provide a military photo (email high resolution file or submit a hard copy). 3) Mail or deliver the order form and payment to:

Banner Installation Schedule: • May Installation - Memorial Day (Banner request and payment due May 1st) • November Installation - Veterans Day (Banner request and payment due by October 15th) • After 12 months, banner will be removed and given to the honoree or family as a “Thank You” for their service.

BRICK PROGRAM
The City of Bellflower invites you to participate in the Bellflower Honors Brick Program. This program offers an opportunity to honor past and present military personnel by dedicating an inscribed brick, like the ones pictured below.
Who qualifies? Past or present military personnel.
What do the bricks look like? Bricks will be 4” x 8” and may have up to 3 lines of engraving with 18 characters per line to include name, branch of service and rank (or name of conflict, i.e. WWII)
Where will bricks be displayed? Bricks will be part of a paved reflection area located at the Veterans Memorial (9918 Flower Street)
What is the cost of a brick? The cost is $125 and all donors will receive a 3” x 1.5” replica brick with the same inscription.
Additional Information: • All inscriptions are subject to approval by the City of Bellflower. • This opportunity is ongoing until all bricks have sold. Bricks are installed quarterly based on the following purchase and installation schedule:
Bricks purchased January – March will be installed by Memorial Day. Bricks purchased April – June will be installed in August. Bricks purchased July – September will be installed by Veterans Day. Bricks purchased October – December will be installed in February.
