Nobel Biocare USA New Trends in Tissue Regeneration and Treatment Concepts that Allow Biological Advantages Sascha A. Jovanovic, DDS, MS

Dr. Jovanovic will discuss optimizing the biology and tissue behavior for esthetic results in implant therapy. He will highlight developing trends in the field of tissue regeneration, as well as a new treatment concept offered by Nobel Biocare that allows biological advantages in the fragile soft-tissue implant/restoration interface. During this session, Dr. Jovanovic will examine protocols and materials, digital planning options, and Nobel Biocare’s leading creos regenerative solutions portfolio. Lastly, he will discuss biological and clinical evidence that helps optimize esthetic results in implant therapy, both when planning for immediate protocols and when waiting for the tissue to heal. The role of conical connection implants in supporting ideal esthetics will also be highlighted, specifically the NobelParallel Conical Connection implant.

Biomaterial Selection and Application with Osseodensification Protocols

Rodrigo Neiva, DDS, MS

Optimizing alveolar ridge volume and tissue quality is an important part of modern implant therapy. Bone instrumentation utilizing osseodensification has proven to enhance and optimize the implant site. Regeneration of lost alveolar ridge anatomy can be accomplished with a variety of graft material combinations and techniques. However, selection of barrier membrane/graft material may influence treatment results. Expected treatment outcomes will be presented and discussed.

Small Diameter Implants: New

Treatment Options for Tooth Replacement Paul A. Fugazzotto, DDS

While small diameter implants are on every clinician’s wish list, no one wants complications and implant failures. Not all small diameter implants are the same. Straumann’s unique Roxolid®

small diameter implant expands patient care, maximizes treatment outcomes and is a key component of sustained quality practice growth. Dr. Paul Fugazzotto will share the research behind the Roxolid small diameter implant, and how this implant positively impacts both his therapy and his practice. Experience the next evolutionary step in implant therapy.

Prosthetically Guided Bone Regeneration for Ideal Implant Placement

Michael Sonick, DMD

Esthetic implant dentistry requires bone for implants to be positioned ideally. The excuse, “that is where the bone was,” is not acceptable. Techniques are now available to augment hard and soft tissue including particulate bone grafting, GBR, and ridge expansion. Bone grafting materials and the various membranes will be reviewed. Implant placement may be immediate or delayed up to nine months depending on the quality and quantity of bone. The advantages and disadvantages of each of the treatment modalities will be elucidated.
