Learn to save a life It’s never too early to learn to save a life! Mini First Aid is the largest first aid training provider for families in the UK and provides three options suitable for key stages up to key stage 3: Early Years children will meet Freddie, who needs to help his poorly mummy; key stage 2 pupils learn how to carry out CPR and deal with bumps, breaks and bleeds as well as choking; and secondary age pupils additionally learn how to cope with an asthma attack and allergic reactions. Work with willow Using natural materials in the fresh air is a wonderful way to support mindfulness and sensory engagement. Creating ART! provides willow-making workshops for schools in and around Oxfordshire. Willow structures are built from living willow branches twisted to create arches, tunnels and shapes. Sessions are very hands on as pupils work together to construct beautiful, functional and lasting outdoor features. Children might build a winding tunnel to spark imaginative journeys, a cosy dome for storytelling or a living maze that changes with the seasons. The process nurtures STEM skills as children explore patterns, structures and the science of plant growth. In some cases, sessions can take place either outside or indoors and can accommodate a single class across a day or additional classes across several days.
