Here’s our roundup of campaigns, competitions and challenges to inspire pupils

COMPETITION

poster competition 2025 British Science Week is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths, which takes place from 7-16 March 2025. Children can show off their creativity by entering the poster competition – this year’s theme is ‘Change and adapt’. As a special addition for 2025, older primary-aged pupils and secondary students will also have the opportunity to enter their poster into a special prize category supported by University College London (UCL). UCL is looking for posters that demonstrate creative ideas about how we can clean up the air in buildings and shared spaces. There are prizes for the winners of all age categories. britishscienceweek.org/ plan-your-activities/poster-competition
