Human fruit machine Three volunteers, each wearing
an apron, have three different types of fruit in their apron pockets, which they pull out at random. If three matching fruits are chosen, the player wins a prize.
Inflatables Hire some inflatables from an
external company. Make sure you have one for each age group to avoid bigger children bouncing with small children. Charge according to the hire costs.
Jar tombola ‘We ask people to fill up jars with various things such as hairbands, crafts, sweets and small toys. These are placed on a jar tombola, where we charge £1 for three tickets. We receive about 80 jars each time, and as donors use their own jars there’s no outlay. It usually sells out within an hour!’ Katie Kemlo, PTA chair, Holywell Primary School, Upchurch, Kent (200 pupils)
