Demand the UK immediately stops all arms transfers to Israel

First it was Gaza, where upward of 41,000 people have been killed by Israel’s armed forces. Now, as fighting escalates between Israel and Hezbollah, civilians are under fire in Lebanon. The need for the UK to halt all arms transfers to Israel is greater than ever. Human rights violations in Gaza are at catastrophic levels. The International Court of Justice has warned of a risk of genocide against Palestinians. In Lebanon the authorities report that more than one million people have been forced to leave their homes, creating a desperate humanitarian situation. Since October 2023, Lebanon says that Israel has killed more than 2,000 of its people. Some of these attacks are likely to be war crimes, including the

indiscriminate use of white phosphorus munitions in populated areas. Despite all this, the UK has not yet suspended all transfers of arms to Israel. Stopping only some weapons – as the UK government has done – is not enough, and is not in line with international law. Domestic and international arms policy prohibits all weapons being sold if they are likely to be used to harm civilians. But the UK government is not adhering to these principles.

Contact your MP now to call for an immediate halt to all transfer of weapons to Israel.

Human rights are the solution, let’s remind the UK government to act on them.
