Six reasons why UNHCR cares about education


When families are forced to flee their homes, children are severely impacted. Torn from school, children are often deprived of education, undermining their potential as productive adults, and leaving them exposed to exploitation and abuse. The UN Refugee Agency believes every refugee child should be in school. We work to give them access to a quality education that also protects their rights as children so they can build a better future for themselves and their community.
